Nginx Config Studio formats nginx configuration in VS Code, then re-parses its own output and refuses to change anything if the structure would differ. It also lints a fixed set of mistakes. It never runs nginx, it does not phone home, and it has no telemetry.

What you get

Safe format document. Comments, log_format strings, and Lua blocks are preserved.
Eight lint rules: missing semicolon, unbalanced braces, unknown directive, wrong context, duplicate location, duplicate server_name, proxy_pass URI slash, and add_header inheritance.
Highlighting, hover docs, and completion for a large directive set, plus an outline.
Pro is planned at $12, once, and is not available yet: a location-match simulator, an include graph, and extra security checks.
